Most people notice a significant improvement in their symptoms after the first appointment. To get to the root causes and heal the issue for good, three to five sessions is standard. Because we’re working through layers, most people continue treatment spaced over a longer period. 

Your first appointment runs approximately two hours. We’ll go through your full health history and I’ll ask questions you may never have been asked before. Usually, we’ll begin hands-on treatments like bowen therapy on that very first session, along with homeopathy and any herbs needed. 

The first appointment has the longest period of talking as I get to hear your story, and in follow up appointments there’s less talking and longer, deeper hands-on treatments.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Eat normally beforehand. It’s important to stay hydrated before and after your treatment, so please bring a bottle of water. Come ready to talk about your health history and bring in a list of any medications you’re currently taking.

Appointment prices range depending on type, duration and number of people being treated.

• Adults (16+): $200, 2 hours
• 9-15 years: $150, 1.5 hours
• Children (8 and under): $100, 1 hour

If you’d like to treat more than one person during an appointment, additional charges apply:

Bowen Therapy and Contact Care are major parts of my treatments. While administering these treatments, each patient requires time to “integrate”. Precise moves are made over muscles, tendons and ligaments, and then patients are left to lie quietly for a few minutes. In this way, it’s possible for me to treat multiple people at the same time.

Often a client who has begun transforming their health will encourage their family or friend to do the same. Doing group appointments allows time and travel efficiency, and it can be extra powerful for a group to heal together.

I prescribe herbs and supplements to support the treatments I administer, but they definitely aren’t essential. If anything I prescribe is outside your budget, just let me know and we’ll find an alternative. Herbal formulas range from $40-$180 depending on bottle size. Supplements sourced through Pacific Health range from $10–$100.

I have appointments at my clinic on peaceful land overlooking Te Waihou River in Okoroire. I also travel nationwide on a regular basis, and do online appointments for humans and animals, too.
